Old school fans of the Resident Evil have been waiting for this for a long time. Capcom is re-releasing the 2002 remake of Resident Evil. The Resident Evil remake was originally launched on the Gamecube and has long been toted as the one of the best games in the franchise.

This isn’t just a port of the original. The graphics will be updated along with full 1080p support. There will be both classic and widescreen ratios and 5.1 surround sound. Best of all, the rebooted Resident Evil will be available for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
With true Capcom class, the developer introduced the RE re-remake by having the game’s producers make this heartfelt video:

Although no official release date has been announced, the game has been slated for sometime in 2015.
