Pairs is a traditional card and puzzle game, in which a set of pictorial cards are placed faced down, and you have to turn them over to make a match. Usually the game is for two players as the person with the most pairs is the winner, but in this free to download Memory Game app, it is one player only. I think this is a disadvantage because it means the game can get pretty boring after a few rounds. I find this is especially the case since the is no variation the pictures. It is the same set of cards for each round. It would have been nice to have different themed packs, for example animals or plants.

The game is kept interesting by having a high score board. this motivates you to improve your time and lower the number of turns it takes you to find all the pairs.
