Review
The world of mobile gaming has recently seen a resurgence in turn-based RPGs in a way we haven’t seen before. Games like
Avengers Alliance which mimicked the early Final Fantasy battle system, and now Star Wars: Assault Team, which takes its battle mechanics from the Dragon Warrior franchise.

Your team can have up to five members at a time
Star Wars: Assault Team is one of the nicest and one of the most fun free mobile RPGs I’ve seen to date. Players start off leading Han in an escape off an Imperial Star Destroyer. Along the way, Han gathers a group of rebels that assist in the escape.

Visit some of your favourite Star Wars planets like Kashgyyk, home of the Wookies
Each playable character has a special ability, like healing, stun or a lucky shot. Players can exchange group members to customize their team for different kinds of battles.

Team members can be comprised of many of the different Star Wars characters and species
Each character will level and gain hit points, damage and eventually, a second ability

Each mission can be played in three different difficulty levels
Like many free-to-play mobile games, Star Wars: Assault Team has an energy bar. Players spend energy to pay each mission. Energy is replenished over time or can be filled up with an Energy Boost item which can be earned or purchased with real-world money.
Star Wars Assault Team is a great introduction to RPGs, as the gameplay is pretty simple, however it is fast paced enough and intriguing enough to draw in hardcore RPG fans and Star Wars fanatics alike.
