Review Swagbucks is an online portal that allows you to earn virtual currency by performing online tasks such as taking surveys, searches, watching videos and playing games. These 'swagbucks' can then be redeemed for rewards such as gift vouchers.
One of the games you can play is called wordropworDrop. Letters printed on children's build blocks fall from the screen, and it is your job to create words out of them. Simply click on the letters to highlight them and spell a word. The blocks come in different colours, and you score more points if your word is all made out of the same colour letters. You also earn more points the longer your word is.
There is no time limit to a level, but it is game over if your blocks fall outside the boundary. It is quite an addictive game; you have to find a balance between spelling long, high scoring words, and making sure the blocks don't reach too high. I always end up trying to make big words, but can't find the letters I need. So far my score isn't very good.
As with most online mini-games, it is free to play, but comes with the downside of having to watch an advert before you play. This is bearable the first time, but if you lose a lot, and have to restart the level, then you have to go through the advert again.
Also, if you are playing the game for swagbucks, don't bother. You only earn them, every other turn at most, and I have never earned more than 2 swagbucks, no matter what my score or how long I've played.
If you do earn enough swagbucks, you can spend them to enter a competition, where you aim for the top score. Winners get extra swagbucks.
