The most unusual board game I have probably played was a Where's Wally? game. You travelled around the board, and when you landed on certain squares, you'd have a few possible tasks. The first was to find an item on one of four illustrated boards - could be Wally, another character, or an object - within a time limit. The second (the really fun part) was to hide a plastic Where's Wally doll somewhere in your house, and your opponent had to find it before the egg timer ran out.
