Everyone is familiar with the classic family board game, Trivial Pursuit, so it is only natural that its popularity saw it brought to the world of mobile gaming. Unfortunately, a lot of the fun aspects have been lost through the migration. Available for Android and iOS, Trivial Mobile disposes of the board, and muliti-player feature, meaning there is no ultimate goal to reach and no one to be competitive against other than yourself. If connected to the internet, there is a global score board, but it is hardly the same thing.

There are several good aspects to the game, such as the ability to choose between three difficulty levels. Easy gives you five points per correct answer, medium gives you ten, and hard gives you fifteen.

You also have the option to cover all categories or just the ones you specialise in, meaning most ages will be able to find at least some questions they know the answer to. If you don't know the answer, then you will learn, as the answer is revealed.

Another fun interactive feature is the ability to submit your own questions; however, this does come with a downside. Sometimes the answers to the questions are wrong, because they have been submitted by the general public, who either filled in the form incorrectly or were wrong to begin with.

If you are a slow reader then you might also struggle, because I often found myself running out of time to answer before finishing reading the question. Trivial Mobile is no substitute for the real thing, but it can while away a few minutes of boredom.
