Reverse tower defense. Never heard of it? Until Royal Revolt, neither had I, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give it a try, because you really should give it a try.

In Royal Revolt, players control a young prince as he takes back his kingdom after his aunts and uncles have usurped the thrown. Lead troops down a road full of opposition like arrow towers, barricades and traps. Level up your prince, upgrade your magic and train soldiers as you fight your way to regaining thirty castles and the crown.

Royal Revolt’s gameplay is simple and addictive. There are thirty maps, each ending with a castle players must retake.

Each stop on the map constitutes a land that must be reclaimed. Players gain stars by mastering stops on the map, there are also special locations that players can only access if they have earned enough stars. Flare Games have also added awesome themed maps like an Easter theme.
