Everyone's favourite yellow dot is now available for Android tablets. Pac-Man & Tournaments allows you to not only play the classic arcade game, but also unlock mazes and take part in online tournaments.



The tournaments are not always available, however, so you have to keep checking to see if one is being run.



Although it is free to download, you need to pay in order to buy the maze levels or earn tokens through achievements.



From the settings menu you can make various adjustments to suit how you want to play. This includes the difficulty level, and how you control the game. The main way to play is by swiping, but this is very difficult. Even when set to maximum sensitivity, the screen does not pick up your movements half the time.



This means that the ghosts get you far more than they should because Pac Man does not alway turn a corner when you instruct him to.

The only other mode you can play in is 'joystick', which I assume requires an added accessory that you have to plug into your tablet. I can't say that I've ever come across any tablet joysticks on sale before though.



As much as I love Pac Man, it was not designed for a touch screen because it require fast reaction times, which cannot be achieved on a tablet.
