Review

flutter

In Flutter the aim of the game is to raise and care for butterflies through the circle of life. There are many different species of butterflies, and you have a scrapbook to mark how many you have collected. There are also additional chapters where you get to collect other insects and plants.

To raise your butterflies, you start out by clearing a patch of rainforest for caterpillars to hatch; you then feed them, so they form into a chrysalises and transform into a butterfly. All these processes take time, and you have to wait for each one to finish before you can progress, which can be quite irritating.

Also, to clear areas and feed caterpillars, you need a certain amount of energy, which either grows over time, is earned, or has to be paid for with 'Flutterbucks' (paid for in real cash).

The game is pretty slow moving and gets boring quickly; what's more, is the game has serious issues connecting to wi-fi, and you can spend ages waiting for it to load.
