Review
Unless we win the lottery or are a true business tycoon, very few of us are going to become filthy rich. If you want to live out the dream without any of the hard work, then
AdVenture Capitalist might amuse you for a little while.
It is a very casual simulation game that requires little more than tapping the screen of your tablet every now and then. The aim is to earn money by setting up enterprising business, starting with a lemonade stand and ending with an oil company. As you earn more money you can open up new businesses.
To start with you have to sell/deliver/etc your own products by tapping the screen, but before long you will be able to afford to hire managers to do that for you, until eventually practically everything is automated.
The benefit of this is that you continue to earn money even after switch off the game, the downside is that when you are playing, there is very little to do other than watch the screen, which gets boring pretty quickly.
There are a few things to keep players interested, such as unlockable bonuses, which increase your earnings, and watching ads to give you a four hour profit boost.
There are also angel investors, who give you an extra 2% increase in profit The catch is that it starts you all the way back to £0 again.
I found this enjoyable for a short time, but the lack of actual things to do, and the repetitiveness gets rather tiresome after a while.
